Rakuten STAY Opens 'Rakuten STAY TERRACE Kinokawa Riverside' in Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture

Rakuten STAY Co., Ltd. (hereinafter 'Rakuten STAY'), which operates the accommodation brand 'Rakuten STAY' under Rakuten Group, Inc. (hereinafter 'Rakuten'), will grand open 'Rakuten STAY TERRACE Kinokawa Riverside' (hereinafter 'the facility') in Kinosaki Town, Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture, on Thursday, July 23. Reservations are now available via Rakuten Travel, Rakuten’s travel booking service, and partner accommodation booking sites.

The facility is a four-story, 24-room accommodation located along the Enshu River, directly across from the area housing the national natural monument 'Genbudo'. It is approximately a 7-minute drive from Kinosaki Onsen town and a 7-minute walk from JR Genbudo Station, with convenient access from Kobe, Osaka, Kyoto, and Kounotori Tajima Airport. All rooms face the Enshu River and feature open terraces, private baths supplied with natural hot spring water, projectors for large-screen viewing, and fully equipped kitchens with appliances and cooking utensils. Guests can enjoy luxurious private stays for up to 12 people in spacious rooms of up to 160 square meters. Except for select rooms, all are designed with river views, allowing guests to enjoy the expansive scenery from the terrace, bath, living, and dining areas.

Three of the top-floor rooms feature private saunas using Fujiyama lava rock and cold plunge pools, provided by 'LOCA THE CLASS.', a members-only private sauna chain based in Tokyo. An outdoor relaxation space on the terrace allows guests to enjoy an extraordinary experience while overlooking the Enshu River. Check-in and check-out are conducted seamlessly via tablet terminals at the entrance, and room doors are equipped with smart locks, enabling contactless and smooth entry and exit from arrival to departure.

Additionally, seven dog-friendly rooms accommodate pets from small to large breeds, with up to two dogs per room. Rooms are equipped with pet cages, pet beds, food bowls, pet sheets, trash bins, and etiquette bags. Among them, three are mezzanine-type rooms connecting the first and second floors via internal stairs, and include a spacious private dog run.

Furthermore, two collaboration rooms have been created in partnership with Vissel Kobe, a football club in the MEIJI YASUDA J1 League under the Rakuten Group. These rooms feature a tatami seating area with full-wall prints of 'Noevir Stadium Kobe' before the 2024 MEIJI YASUDA J1 League championship match, and roller screens designed like interview backboards, offering enjoyable details for fans and non-fans alike. Projectors are installed in both the seating area and bedroom, allowing families and groups to watch Vissel Kobe-related videos and streaming content (Note 2).

For meal-inclusive plans, pre-prepared ingredients are stocked in the refrigerator. Guests can cook simply and enjoy meals at their own pace without time constraints. Dinner options include shabu-shabu with Tajima beef and Yakuno pork from Hyogo Prefecture, crab hot pot with genuine snow crab, and teppanyaki enjoyed on the terrace. Breakfast is offered in two styles: a Western-style breakfast box featuring hot dogs with Yakuno pork sausages, and a Japanese-style breakfast box with sea bream chirashi-zushi and side dishes using fresh sea bream from the San'in coast.

Rakuten STAY will continue expanding the 'Rakuten STAY' brand nationwide, aiming to further revitalize local regions and provide travelers with new accommodation experiences.

(Note 1) The sauna room is maintained at approximately 65°C via far-infrared heating, with humidity around 55% regulated by automatic löyly.
