Comment from Na Li, President of Trina Solar Japan Co., Ltd.
In Japan's residential solar market, products that can adapt to region-specific installation conditions such as roof area, building structure, and consideration for neighbors are in demand. Through this certification, Trina Solar will further strengthen its provision of photovoltaic modules that meet the needs of the Japanese market and contribute to the expanded adoption of solar power generation, including in urban areas.
Supporting Photovoltaic System Installation Tailored to Japanese Urban Housing Environments
Urban housing in Japan presents unique challenges, including limited roof space, the need to consider light reflection on surrounding environments, and weight limitations for rooftop installations.
The photovoltaic modules certified in the three categories were designed specifically for the Japanese market after thorough research and study of urban housing conditions in Japan.
- Compact (Square) models are suitable for homes with limited roof area or restrictive roof shapes, allowing for effective utilization of installation space.
- Anti-glare (Glass) models are designed for densely populated residential areas, taking into account the impact of reflected light on the surrounding environment.
- Lightweight (Glass) models are designed for situations where roof load-bearing capacity is a concern.
Trina Solar continuously strives to develop products that meet the Japanese market's needs, offering an optimal product lineup.
