TSI Holdings Co., Ltd., which holds the slogan 'The happiest fashion company in the world,' announced that its President and CEO Tsuyoshi Shimoji spoke at a talk show at the Asia Fashion Fair on Wednesday, June 10, facilitated by fashion journalist Masahiro Kubo.

The Asia Fashion Fair is one of Japan's largest textile and apparel ODM/OEM exhibitions.

The seminar started with the theme 'Strategies for Improving Planning and Production Capacity at TSI,' and unfolded from discussions about the young creator support event 'FORTY DEGREES JAPAN' held in May.

In the 'Reconstruction of Brand Portfolio and Changes in Planning and Production Capacity' section, he mentioned the acquisition of Ueno Shokai and Daytona International, stating: 'We want to evolve from an apparel maker that just makes products to a retailer that sells out everything during the season. We view M&A as a means to evolve our corporate culture.'

He also shared his future vision, citing Giorgio Armani's saying, 'Design is a social contribution,' as his motto, expressing his determination to utilize design as a tool to improve society.
