Toyo Seikan Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Yasumitsu Takebe, hereinafter "Toyo Seikan"), a consolidated subsidiary of Toyo Seikan Group Holdings, Ltd. (Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Takashi Nakamura), will exhibit at the "12th International Drone Expo" (East Hall 3, Booth 3-N10) held at Tokyo Big Sight from July 15 (Wed) to July 17 (Fri), 2026, as part of "Maintenance & Resilience TOKYO 2026".
At this exhibition, Toyo Seikan will showcase its new products: the remote-controlled spray can sprayer for drones, "SABOT-3 Block2," and the bear repellent spray can mounting option, "Masakari" (meaning "axe"). Through actual product demonstrations and spraying demos, we will propose new ways to utilize drones for infrastructure maintenance, bear damage countermeasures, and more.
SABOT-3 Block2
Exhibition Highlights
At our booth, from the perspective of Toyo Seikan, the developer, we will introduce how drones can be used to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs, with technical explanations and concrete examples.
- "SABOT-3 Block2": Further evolving remote drone operations
By mounting this product on a drone, it becomes possible to spray cans from the air. Simply by replacing the spray can according to the application, a wide range of tasks can be performed, such as roof leak repairs using silicone paint, minor repair work using rust inhibitors and concrete surface impregnating agents, and bird damage countermeasures using repellents. Direct work from the drone eliminates the need for scaffolding and high-altitude work, contributing to improved safety and cost reduction.
"SABOT-3 Block2" features significant software improvements over its predecessor, achieving multi-platform compatibility with the latest industrial drone "DJI Matrice 400" as well as the previous models "Matrice 300/350 RTK." Furthermore, with enhanced camera performance and usability, it has been newly released for sale from July 2026 as an even more convenient product.
- A new solution for bear damage countermeasures: "Masakari" (in development)
This is a commercially available bear repellent spray can mounting option that can be connected to SABOT. Utilizing SABOT's movable nozzle, spraying accuracy, and the ability to spray while confirming the target with a camera, various uses are envisioned, such as driving away bears that have entered a property and individual identification through color marking. This fiscal year, we are conducting demonstration experiments with local government officials and companies in areas where bears frequently appear to optimize operational methods, aiming for early social implementation.

- Multi-purpose telescopic device also on display (in development)
We will exhibit the multi-purpose telescopic device for drones, "NYOI," and the multi-purpose telescopic device for handheld operation, "tNYOI." "NYOI" is being developed as an attachment to enable close-range spraying and direct painting with brushes and rollers, which were difficult with SABOT alone, to meet diverse needs. "tNYOI" is being developed to apply the convenience of lightweight and electric telescopic functions to human work.
