Limited-Time Offer: Tsuchiya Kaban Launches Free Randoseru Cleaning Service from August 1

Tsuchiya Kaban Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Chuo City, Tokyo; hereinafter 'Tsuchiya Kaban'), which operates three randoseru brands—'Tsuchiya Randoseru,' 'grirose (Griroze),' and 'depsoa (Depsoa)'—will offer a complimentary 'cleaning service' for randoseru at its nationwide retail stores from Saturday, August 1, 2026, until the final business day of the year.

About the Cleaning Service

Carrying forward the founder's vision that 'since children carry their first bag at the start of their lives, we must deliver truly high-quality products,' Tsuchiya Kaban has delivered over one million randoseru to children across Japan. To support children and their families beyond the point of purchase and ensure comfortable use for all six years of elementary school, the company will once again offer in-store cleaning services this year as part of its after-sales support.

Service Overview

At the store's order counter, staff will perform randoseru maintenance in front of customers. The process takes approximately 30 minutes. (Free of charge; advance in-store reservation required.)

Service Period:

August 1, 2026 (Saturday) to the final business day of 2026

Cleaning Details:

The service includes brushing, dry wiping, and stain removal using cleaners.

In addition to surface dirt, pencil marks inside the randoseru will be wiped away. Even areas that appear clean, such as around belts and pockets, may accumulate sand and dust. Staff will use various-sized brushes to remove debris from crevices.

※ Depending on the condition of the randoseru—such as oil-based marker stains or aging—complete removal of stains may not be possible. Please understand in advance.

Shoulder Strap Adjustment and Home Care Advice

As children grow or wear seasonal clothing like thick coats, shoulder straps may become tight. Adjusting them to a comfortable length reduces physical strain and extends the randoseru's lifespan.

During the in-store cleaning, staff will assist in adjusting the shoulder straps to the optimal length for comfortable long-term use.
