It has been decided that limited-edition movie advance tickets (cards) featuring a newly drawn illustration for 'The Girl Who Leapt Through Time' will be sold starting June 19, 2026. Furthermore, a fan meeting will be held at the 'Origin of Mamoru Hosoda' exhibition starting June 20th. Alongside this, a social media campaign will offer a pair set of these movie tickets and exhibition invitation tickets to lucky winners.

These movie tickets feature a newly drawn 'if illustration' by the film's animation director, Hiroyuki Aoyama, created to celebrate the 20th anniversary. It depicts an emotional world—a must-see for fans—that was mentioned in the film's dialogue but never actually realized: "What if Makoto and Chiaki could have gone to the summer festival (fireworks display) together in yukatas?"

This 'if illustration,' depicting a moment between the two in the emotional atmosphere of dusk, is a special design for this summer.
