The Moving Ukiyo-e Exhibition HIROSHIMA Executive Committee (Hiroshima Television, C's Live, Ikkih, TV Aichi) will hold the immersive digital art museum "Moving Ukiyo-e Exhibition HIROSHIMA," where you can immerse yourself in the world of ukiyo-e, from Saturday, July 18, 2026, to Sunday, September 6, 2026.

The "Moving Ukiyo-e Exhibition HIROSHIMA" will feature special exhibition commentary exclusive to the Hiroshima venue.

Additionally, a special campaign will be held for those who visit in traditional Japanese attire.

Special Exhibition Commentary Exclusive to the "Moving Ukiyo-e Exhibition HIROSHIMA" Venue

At the "Moving Ukiyo-e Exhibition HIROSHIMA" venue, in addition to exhibiting precious ukiyo-e prints depicting the land of Hiroshima, we will present special commentary that deciphers the unique aspects of Hiroshima from the artworks.

Among the actual ukiyo-e prints on display, we will feature "Toyotomi Gun'koki-nai Miyajima Daikassenzu" by Tsukioka Yoshitoshi depicting the Battle of Miyajima, "Saigoku Meisho-no-uchi Bingo Tomo no Minato" by Utagawa Sadahide depicting Tomonoura, and "Rokujūyo Shū Meisho Zue Aki Itsukushima Sairei no Zu" by Utagawa Hiroshige depicting Itsukushima Shrine (reprint).

Furthermore, a commentary on Utagawa Kuniyoshi's "Kingyo Tsudushi" series, filled with humor and playfulness, which is fitting for a city that has lived alongside water, will be exclusively available at the Hiroshima venue.

We invite you to enjoy the world of Hiroshima ukiyo-e, drawn in the Edo period, with learning and new discoveries.
