Shoei, one of the entertainment industry's top fishing enthusiasts, takes on various fishing challenges in the Shoei Challenge series. This time, he tries his hand at float fishing from a breakwater, which even beginners can enjoy.

Having previously experienced rock fishing on the show and falling completely in love with it, Shoei now learns float fishing from scratch on a stable breakwater!

The stage is Tago Fishing Port in Nishiizu-cho, Shizuoka Prefecture. This port is a place where the town, fishermen, and private companies have cooperated to open the port to anglers for a fee. With a depth exceeding 20 meters, it is a popular spot where you can encounter various fish throughout the seasons.

Guiding Shoei in float fishing this time is Yoshio Morikawa.

He is a veteran angler who shares the joy of float fishing based on the Izu Peninsula.

The main target is the 'Mejina' (blackfish).

First, they scatter chum to attract the fish. Once the fish gather, they present the bait, krill, to make it coincide with the chum. Right from the start, the float reacts. When he sets the hook...
