TV Anime "The Apothecary Diaries" x Tokyo City View Collaboration Event Decides Special Sponsorship

TVS REGZA Corporation has decided to provide special sponsorship for the TV Anime "The Apothecary Diaries" x Tokyo City View collaboration event, which will be held from August 1, 2026 (Sat.) at Tokyo City View, the observation deck of Roppongi Hills.

Our company has long advocated "For watching anime, it's definitely REGZA!" and has focused on developing high-image-quality technologies using AI that bring out the beauty unique to anime. We have developed "Chideji AI Beauty" which suppresses noise and afterimages in broadcast waves with advanced super-resolution technology, "AI Scene High Image Quality PRO" which distinguishes scenes and performs appropriate rendering for each, and in the winter of 2025, we will release televisions equipped with the next-generation video technology "RGB Mini LED LCD Panel." By independently driving RGB 3-color LEDs, we achieve high color purity that surpasses conventional image quality, enabling the reproduction of vibrant and realistic textures on a large screen.

1. RGB Mini LED LCD REGZA "100ZX1S" and "55ZX3S"

In the entrance area, which will display the famous scene "Maomao's Dance" from the work, we will provide the flagship model "100ZX1S" (100V type) as the main display. Additionally, we will provide 8 units of "55ZX3S" as sub-displays. These models feature "RGB Mini LED," a next-generation backlight technology that independently drives LEDs for the three primary colors of light (R, G, B). Combined with direct-emission RGB LEDs for high color purity and wide color gamut, and the proprietary high-image-quality video processing engine "REGZA Engine ZRα," it achieves unprecedentedly vibrant and natural high image quality. It will reproduce the gorgeous characters of the TV anime "The Apothecary Diaries," the vermilion and gold colors of the imperial court world, the brilliance of night lights, and the textures of luxurious court costumes, furnishings, and decorations with unprecedented vividness and realism, creating overwhelming presence and immersion unique to the large screen.

2. 4K REGZA Laser Projector "RLC-V7R MAX"

For the theater space, we will provide 4 units of the flagship model of REGZA laser projectors, "RLC-V7R MAX."

This unit is a DLP® projection system laser projector that uses RGB 3-color lasers as its light source. It achieves a maximum brightness of approximately 3000 ISO lumens*1, a wide color gamut of approximately 110% in BT.2020 area ratio, and a coverage rate of approximately 98%. Despite the large screen projection by the projector, it reproduces the dramatic world of the TV anime "The Apothecary Diaries" with sharp and beautiful high image quality, similar to a movie theater.
