【Official Report】Former 'Last Idol' Misaki Hata's 6-Member Idol Group 'Lumiétoile' Makes Debut!

The six-member idol group "Lumiétoile" (shortened to Lumieto), produced by former "Last Idol" member Misaki Hata, made its official debut with a debut live concert titled "Kimi mo Namae mo Nai Hoshitachi e" at Kanda Myojin Hall in Tokyo on Saturday, June 27.

"Lumiétoile" was formed through auditions held since November last year by Misaki Hata, who gained experience in "Last Idol" and "× Junbungaku Shoujo Kagekidan (Fujunbungaku Shoujo Kagekidan)." The group consists of six members: Yui Tachibana, Kanon Kayano, Marin Koshi, Otoha Natsuyagi, Hina Tsukishiro, and Misaki Haneda. The group's name combines "Lumière," meaning "light" in French, and "Étoile," meaning "star," reflecting their aspiration to shine in someone's night sky.

Despite approaching typhoon weather, fans gathered eagerly for the debut live. The six members made their entrance backed by a sound effect, lining up in a row and striking individual idol poses. Then, their debut single "Naritai, Muteki Heroine," released digitally on Tuesday, May 26, began to play. With twin tails perfectly styled, Koshi announced, "Hello everyone! We are Lumiétoile!" The fresh, vibrant sound heralded their very first performance.

Their costumes were primarily white, accented with each member's individual color. Hair accessories and socks were customized per member, and hairstyles and expressions boldly highlighted their individuality.

"Mēdē! Tee Tee!!" featured a fast-paced chiptune sound. Despite being the first live performance, fans were already calling out members' names, responding enthusiastically to the energy the six members radiated.

After a self-introduction MC segment, they returned to performing with "Waku Waku☆ Magic," a cute, orthodox idol song. Their endearing dance fully expressed the adorable charm characteristic of "Lumiétoile." During the song, when they formed pairs facing each other, they made sure to maintain eye contact, conveying their mutual trust to the audience and enveloping the hall in a sweet, warm atmosphere while steadily building excitement.

"Star Parade," starting with Tachibana's powerful vocals, marked a shift from the previous cute atmosphere, expressing the resolve to shine as idols like stars in the night sky. The catchy choreography, with arms waving to represent stars, added dynamism and energy.

Then came "Kimi Dokusen Yoku♡," a cunningly cute love song, where they poured their desire to monopolize their boyfriend into a charming performance. Natsuyagi and Kayano, who energetically led the MC segments, firmly captured fans' hearts with their singing voices and expressions during their solo parts.

So far, all five songs performed were original tracks. When asked which song they liked most, Tsukishiro chose "Kimi Dokusen Yoku♡," Haneda picked "Star Parade," and Koshi selected "Mēdē! Tee Tee!!."

Then, following Kayano's tease, "We actually have new songs too!" they unveiled "Lumiétoile," a song named after the group itself. The six voices harmonized beautifully over a refreshing melody that also conveyed inner strength, leaving a strong impression of "Lumiétoile"'s cuteness and power.

With that, the main set concluded. Answering the encore, the six returned to the stage to perform "Naritai, Muteki Heroine" once more. Starting with Koshi's energetic rallying cry, just as in the main set, they shared their excitement with the fans.

On the same day as this debut live, they also hosted a three-band live event as headliners, and upcoming appearances at joint live concerts and festivals are scheduled starting in July. After making these announcements, producer Misaki Hata was invited on stage by the members. Expressing her gratitude to the fans who responded with enthusiastic cheers throughout the debut live, Hata said, "You're all so cute and sparkling—I was moved from the very beginning and ended up crying." Having built the group together with them since the auditions, she joyfully celebrated their growth. "Today marks only the start of the starting line. I hope we can all create a story together from here on, so please continue supporting us for a long time to come," she said, entrusting the future to these six members, who responded with wide smiles, exclaiming, "We had so much fun!"

Furthermore, Hata surprised everyone by announcing the launch of "Lumiétoile"'s very own variety show on the internet broadcasting station WALLOP, titled "Lumiétoile no Hoshi Ikutsu Desu!?" The show will feature missions given to the members by Hata each episode, packed with talk segments and live performances. Amid the joyful announcement, Tachibana reaffirmed her determination, saying, "Receiving such a major announcement, I feel even more strongly that we must keep working hard together as this team."

Finally, members, fans, and Hata together struck the "Lumiétoile" pose, capturing the moment in a photo to create a lasting memory.

"Lumiétoile"'s debut live was filled to the brim with each member's vision of a classic idol—expressed not only through their performances but also in spontaneous fan service and visual presentation, from 24-year-old Koshi to 19-year-old Tachibana.

"Lumiétoile"'s challenge—to become stars for someone, and to keep striving to shine ever brighter themselves—has only just begun.
