Equivalent to approximately 18–36 standard-sized cardboard boxes, this size is about the same as a closet and can be used as a closet alternative. Ideal for storing off-season clothing, futons, appliances, suitcases, and more.

2-tatami, 3-tatami

Equivalent to approximately 72–144 standard-sized cardboard boxes, this is a considerably spacious option. Suitable for storing large furniture and appliances such as washing machines and bicycles, as well as office supplies and product inventory.

About the Trunk Room "SpaLab"

SpaLab operates over 700 stores and more than 22,000 indoor trunk rooms (rental storage spaces) primarily in Tokyo and Osaka.

Despite rising real estate prices, living spaces in city centers remain limited, leading to increasingly compact housing. Yet people still need space for cherished belongings—hobbies, seasonal clothing, or items used only a few times a year, like Hina dolls and Christmas trees.

To address these urban challenges, SpaLab was created.

Additionally, by renovating long-term vacant properties into trunk rooms, we aim to contribute to solving the social issue of vacant homes, which is estimated to exceed 800,000 units nationwide.

SpaLab allows non-face-to-face viewing (by reservation), and both contract signing and cancellation can be completed online.

To meet these urgent needs, we've streamlined the application and contract process so that you can begin using your space as soon as your credit card payment is confirmed. With smart locks and dial keys, there's no need to physically receive keys.

Each unit is private and secured with locks on both the entrance and individual rooms—ensuring a safe double-lock system.

Additionally, surveillance cameras are installed in all interior corridors.
