The once-a-year Doyo no Ushi no Hi (Midsummer Day of the Ox). Edo Nadai Amon stores will offer unaju, kabayaki, and more for dine-in and takeout. Some stores will also offer a special 3-day plan from July 24 (Fri) to July 26 (Sun).

Delivering Specialty Eel for Doyo no Ushi no Hi

Doyo no Ushi no Hi is a traditional Japanese event where people eat nutritious eel to regain energy during the summer when appetite tends to decrease due to the heat. Edo Nadai Amon will offer its specialty unaju and kabayaki at each store to celebrate this once-a-year occasion. This year, some stores will be open only on Doyo no Ushi no Hi (Sunday, July 26), while others will be open for three days from July 24 (Fri) to July 26 (Sun), including the day before and the day before that. Stores offering the 3-day plan will allow customers to enjoy their meal without the rush of the main day and ensure that reserved orders are fulfilled.
