UNERI Inc. (Headquarters: Nagoya, Aichi; CEO: Masaki Kawai), a company dedicated to developing the social entrepreneurship ecosystem, will serve as the secretariat for the student-focused program 'DONUTS,' hosted by the Meijo University Social Collaboration Center. The first session will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, featuring Rikuo Mizumoto of Acompany Inc. and Masaki Kawai of UNERI, titled 'Careers Seen After Starting a Business: Options Found After Taking the First Step.' The program will take place at the 'M-STUDIO' entrepreneurship and manufacturing space managed by Meijo University. In its fifth year, the program will feature two student entrepreneurs per session across three seminars. Each seminar combines a talk session exploring the background and realities of business challenges with a workshop where participants confront their own 'seeds of interest' or uncertainties to consider their next steps. In the first half, guests will share their business stories, struggles during their student years, and insights gained from addressing social issues. In the second half, participants will engage in workshops to articulate their interests. The program is designed for those aiming to start a business, as well as students who want to do something but don't know where to start, or those interested in social issues but still feeling uncertain.
