Unicharm Corporation (President and CEO: Takahisa Takahara) will launch a summer limited edition of 'Lifree Ultra-Thin Underwear-Like Pants' nationwide in late May 2026. The product features a unique 'sweat-absorbing sheet' that reduces the temperature inside the diaper by 2°C* through 10 times faster drying compared to conventional products, ensuring comfort even during hot summers. In recent years, the prolonged summer season has led to increased dissatisfaction with stuffiness and rashes caused by heat. In 2025, 'midsummer days' accounted for about one-quarter of the year in Tokyo, highlighting the impact of extreme heat. Our surveys show that 'not stuffy' (51%) and 'no rashes' (45%) are top priorities when choosing paper pants, indicating a growing need for summer comfort. Consequently, we are launching this summer limited edition to address the specific discomforts of summer heat.
