Three leaders who have driven HR organizations at rapidly growing companies will take the stage at this 50th milestone event: Tetsuto Soyama, Senior Managing Executive Officer, CHO at CyberAgent, Inc.; Yusuke Tokuda, Executive Officer, VP at Knowledge Work HR; and Kazumine Ohara, Executive Officer at Rakusul Co., Ltd. They will engage in a candid discussion about the role of HR in an era of change, covering topics such as recruitment, HRBP, and the relationship between management and HR.

Connecting to the Next Stage.

"HR Craft Night" is an offline networking event exclusively for corporate HR professionals, held since 2022 with the theme "Making Friends Over Sushi and Craft Beer." It provides a platform for HR professionals to gather beyond company and position, learn from each other candidly, and foster connections.

HR Craft Night Vol.50 "NEXT," marking the 50th event, will be held on a large scale as a commemorative occasion to begin the next chapter of HR Craft Night, welcoming new members while building upon the encounters and dialogues accumulated so far.

This event will feature a review of the past 50 events, sessions with prominent guests from the HR industry, and networking opportunities for participants.

In "Session 1," the first panel discussion, the theme will be "The Future of HR," discussing the role of HR in an era of significant change, including recruitment, organizational development, talent development, HRBP, and the relationship between management and HR.

Amidst major changes in the corporate environment, HR is increasingly expected not only to handle recruitment and system operations but also to support business growth and create the future of the organization.

This session will feature three HR leaders who have spearheaded HR and organizational development at CyberAgent, Knowledge Work, and Rakusul. They will delve into the future roles and possibilities required of HR based on their practical knowledge and perspectives.

Tetsuto Soyama

CyberAgent, Inc.

Senior Managing Executive Officer, CHO

Graduated from the Faculty of Letters, Sophia University. After working at a major department store, he joined CyberAgent in 1999. Following his tenure as head of sales for the internet advertising business division, he became Head of the HR Department in 2005. Since 2022, he has also served as the owner of the company's professional dance team. From 2025, he will concurrently serve as Head of the Sports Partnership Business Department, supporting the management of companies sponsoring sports businesses with HR strategies, among other initiatives. His books include "Creative HR" and "Textbook for Developing Young Talent."

Yusuke Tokuda

Knowledge Work HR

Executive Officer, VP, HR

After graduating from the Faculty of Letters, the University of Tokyo in 2014, he joined DeNA Co., Ltd. He worked in sales and HR roles, serving as General Manager of Subsidiary Management and HRBP. He joined Knowledge Work in 2022 and became Executive Officer, VP, HR in 2023. He currently oversees the Resource Management Unit.

Kazumine Ohara

Rakusul Co., Ltd.

Executive Officer, General Manager of Corporate Management Department, Rakusul Business Division

He has experience in establishing and managing HR departments at rapidly growing companies in the web advertising and gaming sectors, including GameOn Co., Ltd. and OPT HOLDINGS, Inc. During the company's expansion from 20 to 250 employees in three years, and from 500 to 1,600 employees in seven years, he was responsible for all HR functions, including recruitment and HR system development. He joined Rakusul Co., Ltd. in 2017. He established the HR department and HRBP (Human Resources Business Partner) function, promoting the development of HR and organizational structures aligned with business growth.

19:40 - 20:20 Session 1 "The Future of HR"

A panel discussion with guests from CHRO and HR Director levels on the theme of how HR has changed in the past five years and what roles will be required of HR in the next five years. We will discuss the future of HR amidst the expanding roles required in areas such as recruitment, development, evaluation, organizational development, and human capital management.

20:30 - 21:10 Session 2 "How HR Will Change with AI"

A panel discussion on the theme of how HR tasks such as recruitment, development, evaluation, organizational development, and HR operations will change with the evolution of AI. While AI will expand the scope of tasks that can be streamlined, how will the value that HR should inherently focus on regarding "people" and "organizations" be redefined? We will discuss the role of HR in the age of AI.
