What is "Zushi Beach Film Festival"? It's a special space that appears on Zushi Beach during Golden Week, created by "CINEMA CARAVAN," a project that travels the world with the concept of 'Play with the Earth'. It serves as a platform where people and culture interact authentically in nature. "CINEMA CARAVAN," the communities it has met, and the local community jointly create this event on the usually quiet Zushi Beach. After the 13-day session ends, it returns to a quiet Zushi Beach, making it a limited-time film festival.

Founded in 2010 by members who created the first Zushi Beach Film Festival held in Zushi City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. It is a collective with aspects such as a group of people spanning various genres like artists, musicians, painters, carpenters, and chefs, with photographer Rai Shizuno as the initiator; an aspect as a catalyst that revitalizes regions by collaborating with local people and cultures it visits; and an aspect as a collective that performs direction and space creation at art festivals and film festivals. It is an aggregate of people and a project that combines these various aspects.
