VARYTEX Co., Ltd. has supported the product development of the first-ever 'Yojo Soup' series by Nishiki Food's retort food brand 'NISHIKIYA KITCHEN'. The series, featuring three flavors (Mala Tang, Bak Kut Teh, and Samgyetang), is scheduled for release on June 4, 2026, for 590 yen (including tax) each.\n\nFor this project, VARYTEX utilized its traditional Kampo medicine network to select Dr. Asako Okamura (Director of Kashiwanoha Ladies Clinic) as the supervisor. Furthermore, VARYTEX's registered dietitians and pharmacists conducted multiple tastings and evaluations to refine the recipes.\n\nThe series aims to help consumers manage sub-health and inner coldness during the humid rainy season and summer. In a pre-sale held from May 23 to 25, 2026, about 60% of buyers were women in their 30s to 50s, with Mala Tang and Samgyetang being highly popular. Mala Tang includes ingredients like lotus root and wood ear mushroom. Bak Kut Teh features pork cartilage, garlic, pine nuts, and star anise. Samgyetang is a traditional Korean medicinal soup. VARYTEX successfully balanced health-supportive ingredients with the great taste of retort food.
