Premiere at Automotive Testing Expo: Vector and Solectrix Joint Solution for ADAS/AD Data Replay

Overview Stuttgart/Fürth, Germany, May 18, 2026 – The demand for realistic and reproducible testing for camera-based driver assistance and automated driving functions is increasing significantly. In response, Vector Informatik GmbH (Vector) and Solectrix GmbH (Solectrix) are jointly announcing a high-performance data replay solution that allows for efficient and transparent validation of the latest ADAS/AD features.

Solution Strengths This joint solution leverages the core strengths of both companies. Vector provides its proven simulation and testing tools 'CANoe' and 'DYNA4' for vehicle communication, bus simulation, and virtual driving scenarios. Solectrix contributes its long-standing expertise in the field of embedded vision, along with the high-performance video capture/replay system 'proFRAME'.

Enhancing Test Efficiency By fully integrating Vector's CANoe and DYNA4 with Solectrix's proFRAME, users gain an end-to-end development and test solution capable of replaying camera data from both real and virtual scenarios in an accurate, synchronized, and reproducible manner. This enables users to execute the same test scenario across different software versions, allowing for early detection of regressions and intentional analysis of complex traffic situations. Consequently, this leads to significant reductions in testing time and shorter development cycles.

Furthermore, the system now outputs virtual driving scenarios as a real-time camera stream while simultaneously performing I²C communication emulation for cameras. This makes it possible to accurately validate ADAS/AD driving functions on the ECU without using a physical vehicle. By manipulating video and I²C data, users can also simulate faults and investigate edge cases or safety-critical scenarios under controlled environments.

Premiere at the Expo Vector and Solectrix will present this joint solution for the first time at the Automotive Testing Expo, held in Stuttgart, Germany, from June 23 to 26, 2026. Visitors can experience the new test environment using real and virtual camera data at the Vector booth (Hall 1, Booth 1602) and learn more about embedded vision and proFRAME at the Solectrix booth (Hall 1, Booth 1321).
