Supporting Stable Screw Fastening: Vessel Launches New 'Torque Bit Holder' to Reduce Risks of Over- and Under-Tightening for its Den-dora Ball Screwdrivers

Vessel Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka, Japan; President: Yuichi Taguchi) will begin shipping its new 'Torque Bit Holder,' a tool designed to support the screw tightening torque management required at electrical construction sites, from June 2, 2026.

This bit holder is a torque management accessory that can be attached to Vessel's Den-dora Ball series, interchangeable handles, and drill drivers rated 7.2V or less and 250rpm or lower. When the preset torque for each screw size is reached, it 'clicks' and idles, preventing over-tightening. This supports stable screw fastening that is less susceptible to variations in individual worker's force.

The lineup includes five individual models for M3, M3.5, M4, M5, and M6 screws, as well as a five-piece set. It is intended for use in electrical work where screw-tightening quality is critical for safety and equipment reliability, such as in distribution boards, terminal blocks, and electricity meters.

Development Background At electrical work sites, inconsistencies in manual tightening could lead to risks such as terminal block damage, poor wire contact, or burnout. Furthermore, dedicated torque management tools were often expensive and heavy. In response to this feedback, Vessel developed this product as an easy-to-use adapter that can be retrofitted to commonly used tools.

Integration with 'Den-dora Ball®' By combining it with Vessel's rechargeable ball-grip electric screwdriver series, which has sold over 2 million units, users can perform simple torque management while utilizing their regular tools.
