Vessel Izumo Taisha Hotel (Tentative) to Open in Spring 2028: First Vessel Hotel Featuring a Long-Awaited Dinner Buffet

Vessel Hotel Development Co., Ltd. (Vessel Hotels), which develops hotel businesses nationwide with the vision of 'loving you, your family, and the city,' will open the 'Vessel Izumo Taisha Hotel (tentative name)' in Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture. This marks the company's first entry into Shimane Prefecture. A ground-breaking ceremony was held on May 18, 2026, and construction will begin. The hotel is scheduled to open in the spring of 2028.

The location is ideal for tourism, situated a 5-minute walk from the 'Seidomari' Torii Gate of Izumo Taisha Shrine and a 10-minute walk from Ichibata Electric Railway's Izumo Taisha-mae Station. The hotel will have 107 smoke-free rooms. Facilities will include an onsen with a sauna, an open-air bath, and private baths. Both breakfast and dinner will be provided in a buffet format.

Children 18 and under can stay for free if sharing a bed with parents or grandparents. The hotel will also provide extensive services, including baby cribs, free amenities, and welcome drinks.
