Speaker Profiles

Kenzaburo Ishida, Senior Researcher, Cyber Security Promotion Department, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Inc. After working in system development and security consulting at an SIer, he assumed his current role. He currently leads the security consulting team for the introduction of digital technologies and cloud services. He led the introduction of Assured within MUFG and is currently promoting projects for further expansion of its utilization.

Manabu Iwata, General Manager, IT Planning Department, Japan Exchange Group, Inc. After joining the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 1999, he worked in derivatives markets and the membership division (now Transaction Member Office), engaging in clearing and settlement, legal affairs, and human resources. In the clearing and settlement field, he was seconded to Japan Securities Clearing Corporation, where he was involved in its establishment and operations, as well as the integration of financial and commodity clearing houses accompanying JPX's transformation into a comprehensive exchange. He was also involved in the construction of a DLT utilization system for commodity delivery and settlement. Since 2023, he has been responsible for IT strategy and planning for market infrastructure in the current IT Planning Department.

Atsushi Sasaki, Leader, Risk & Governance Unit, Cybersecurity Group, IT Planning Department, SOMPO Holdings, Inc. He has been involved in system risk assessment, establishment of security management systems, system/security audits, and SOX compliance at megabanks, securities system companies, and audit firm-affiliated consulting firms. He joined SOMPO Holdings in 2022. He currently contributes to improving the cybersecurity measures of various SOMPO Group companies by operating "Cyber Metrics," which quantitatively assesses and visualizes the cybersecurity management levels of each company, formulating various policies and guidelines, and promoting PQC response.
