Event Overview
This event is a welfare camp community designed so that anyone—including people with disabilities, their families, and outdoor beginners—can participate with peace of mind. With volunteer staff providing support, the program offers diverse outdoor experiences regardless of disability status or age.
What is the Welfare Camp Community 'LIFE SCOUTS'?
Yusuke Niwa, CEO of Visionary, has long aimed to enrich the lives of everyone involved through his daily activities. In particular, he sought to provide new value beyond traditional welfare services for people requiring care, those with disabilities, and their families, leading to ongoing exploration.
This journey culminated in camping and outdoor activities. Drawing from his personal hobby, Niwa realized that the comfort found in nature, the warmth of gathering around a campfire, conversations with friends, and the joy of embracing inconvenience could enrich the lives of those requiring care, people with disabilities, and their families. This insight led to the founding of LIFE SCOUTS.

The next event will be held as follows:
- Date and Time: June 27 (Sat), 10:00–12:00 - Location: Daise Forest Park (Second Cooking Area), 6757-1 Nakadani, Sumiyoshi-cho, Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture 513-0825, Minamitaniuchi, Sumiyoshi-cho Minamitaniuchi - (Google Map: https://maps.app.goo.gl/dVsFtskZ5H2XFz2CA) - Participation Fee: Free
Since launching in March 2024, this activity has been held 10 times cumulatively, operating primarily in Aichi Prefecture as a space where welfare can be experienced casually.
At the May 2026 event in Nagoya City, approximately 40 participants attended, including people with disabilities and their families, as well as general families and local children. Despite about 90% being first-time attendees, post-event surveys recorded 100% participant satisfaction.
The most common reason for participation was 'camping experience,' with over half responding 'I joined because it looked fun.' Participation is increasingly driven not only by interest in welfare but also by outdoor experiences and local community engagement, fostering natural interaction across ability statuses and expanding the community.
Program Content

Volunteer Recruitment [Application Details Here]
Operating this community requires ongoing support from many people. We welcome individuals interested in the outdoors or who simply want to help others, even without prior caregiving or welfare experience. A support system is in place to ensure even first-time volunteers can participate with confidence.
