"Macho x Caregiver" Visionary Co., Ltd. Plans to Open a Group Home for People with Disabilities in Yokkaichi, Mie; Holding "Muscle Internships" to Experience the Welfare Field Ahead of Opening

Visionary Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Yusuke Niwa, Headquarters: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture), which operates welfare services for people with disabilities, plans to open a new group home for people with disabilities called "NOIE YOKKAICHI" in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture in August 2026. Prior to the opening, to promote understanding of welfare work and disability welfare, we will hold a "Muscle Internship" combining workplace experience and strength training for two days on July 25 (Sat.) and 26 (Sun.) in the Mie area.

First-Ever "Muscle Internship" Held in Mie Area

This project is a unique internship program developed by Visionary, first held in Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture in May 2026, with a 100% participant satisfaction rate, and approximately 90% responding that their impression of caregiving work improved. Planned Opening of "NOIE YOKKAICHI," a Group Home for People with Disabilities in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture

Visionary Co., Ltd. plans to open "NOIE YOKKAICHI," a group home for people with disabilities, in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture in August 2026. This facility will provide day service support for shared living and short-stay services. We aim to create a place where users can live with peace of mind, like "their own home," by accepting individuals with severe disabilities from within and outside the prefecture, and by valuing connections with the community.

Holding of "Muscle Internships" to Strengthen "Muscle Recruitment"

In anticipation of the new opening in Mie Prefecture, we will hold a "Muscle Internship" combining workplace experience and strength training in the Mie area for two days on July 25 (Sat.) and 26 (Sun.) to promote understanding of welfare work and disability welfare, and to strengthen our "muscle recruitment" efforts.

Background of Implementation

Labor shortages are becoming increasingly serious in the welfare industry, with the active job opening ratio for welfare workers continuing to be higher than the average for all industries. In this context, Visionary Co., Ltd., with its mission to "eliminate anxiety and stress from the world through caregiving," is working to secure personnel to support the welfare industry and to promote understanding of caregiving and disability welfare.

The "Muscle Internship" being held this time is designed to deepen understanding of caregiving and disability welfare by allowing participants to actually experience the work content of the welfare field and the lives of those who work there.

Visionary believes that the physical strength and perseverance cultivated through strength training lead to a sense of security for users and an improvement in the quality of support. We offer opportunities to experience welfare work while interacting with "macho caregivers" who are actively working in the field.

Results of First Internship Survey

The "Muscle Internship" first held in Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture in May 2026 recorded 100% participant satisfaction. Furthermore, approximately 90% of participants responded in a survey that their impression of caregiving work improved, indicating that the program led to a deeper understanding of the welfare field.

- Through facility tours and experiences, I gained experiences that I couldn't get in my daily life. Also, the staff were kind and I was able to talk a lot, which was great. In the final strength training session, I learned valuable information and had fun.

- For the first time, I was able to learn specifically about the content of caregiving work, and I was taught with great enthusiasm about the types of disabilities and how to communicate appropriately with each person.

- The facility environment was also very good, and the internship structure was excellent, providing me with many learning opportunities. In the strength training session, I was able to ask various questions about training to members of the fitness corporate team, so I was very satisfied.

What is "Muscle Internship"?

"Muscle Internship" is a workplace experience program targeted at individuals who enjoy strength training or are interested in welfare work.

In addition to observing operations and experiencing user support at a disability welfare facility, participants can deepen their understanding of welfare work through interaction with the staff working on-site.

Furthermore, after the program concludes, joint training will be conducted with Visionary's fitness corporate team, "7SEAS." This is a unique internship program that combines welfare and fitness.

Visionary plans to hold "Muscle Internships" in various regions in the future.
