Vortex Inc. has filed four lawsuits at the Tokyo District Court against ACN Group, seeking injunctions and damages over alleged infringement of its patents related to fractional office ownership systems.

Vortex Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Fumihiko Miyazawa; hereinafter "the Company"), a company primarily engaged in asset formation consulting centered on its "Fractional Office®" concept, announces that on July 15, Reiwa 8, it has filed four lawsuits at the Tokyo District Court against ACN Group Co., Ltd., ACN Real Estate Co., Ltd., and ACN Solutions Co., Ltd. (collectively, "ACN Companies") seeking injunctions against the use of their systems and damages for patent infringement based on the Company’s patents (Patent No. 6371442 and Patent No. 7029883).

The ACN Companies offer services related to office condominiums and fractional real estate investments under names such as "Condominium Office Solution" and "A-Share." After careful examination of the systems used by the ACN Companies in providing these services, the Company has determined that they infringe upon its patent rights and has decided to pursue legal action to seek injunctions and compensation.

The Company previously filed four additional lawsuits on July 1, Reiwa 8, against the ACN Companies based on its other patents (Patent No. 5789062 and Patent No. 6074102). The current lawsuits are supplementary actions following those initial filings.

As a pioneer of the "Fractional Office®" concept, the Company has developed and provided innovative real estate solutions utilizing office buildings, including its fractional investment product "V-Share®." The intellectual property generated through this process is considered a crucial management asset that supports the Company’s competitive strength and corporate value.
