No. 1: 'X' – Strength and Mystery Coexisting

'X' took the top spot with 24.1%. Reasons included 'it looks strong,' 'it has a mysterious atmosphere,' and 'it feels unknown.' The influence of the hit TV drama 'Doctor-X,' featuring Ryoko Yonekura, is significant. Her character’s overwhelming competence and mysterious aura have helped cement the image that 'X equals strong and special' among young people. Other mentions included Pokemon titles and the persona of 'Kaito X' (Phantom Thief X), which add to its cool factor.

No. 2: 'Z' – The Heavy Sound of the 'Ultimate Weapon'

'Z' ranked second with 16.6%. Common feedback mentioned 'it's the last letter,' 'it feels like an ultimate weapon,' or 'it's like the final boss.' The worldwide popularity of 'Dragon Ball Z' solidified the image that 'Z equals the strongest or final form.' Additionally, the activities of 'Momoiro Clover Z' have imparted a positive image of 'evolution and awakening' to the letter.

No. 3: 'A' – The Beginning and the Pinnacle, the Royal 'Ace'

'A' ranked third with 15.9%. Responses focused on 'it's the number one,' 'it's the first letter,' and 'it means Ace.' As the first position, it is easily associated with leadership and being at the forefront, representing a classic sense of coolness.

Beyond 4th Place: Unique Aesthetics

'S' took fourth place at 12.5%. Beyond the classic 'Special' or 'Super,' it is now strongly associated with the 'highest rank' in anime and games. Young people project their personal aesthetics onto letters, often connecting them with their favorite groups or 'oshi' (favorite figures), showcasing the unique aesthetic sense of today’s youth.
