The marketing information site 'Wakamono Research' conducted a survey among current high school students across Japan, asking, 'What comes to mind when you say Tokyo XX?' Here are some of the results in a ranking format.

[One in four young people thinks of 'Tokyo Banana' when they hear Tokyo!] As a result of this survey, the glorious first place went to 'Tokyo Banana' (25.0%). Many reasons were cited, such as 'It's a famous snack I often hear about,' 'I see it at the station every day,' and 'I received it as a souvenir.' Tokyo Banana was born as a Tokyo souvenir in 1991 and has been loved for many years. It seems that the reputation of its taste and their own experiences eating it serve as a trigger for them to remember it.

Second place was 'Tokyo Tower' (10.3%). As a historic radio tower, it seems to have left a strong impression even on high school students living far away through experiences such as school trips.

Third place was 'Tokyo Skytree' (10.0%). Reasons such as 'symbol' and 'because it's famous' were common, suggesting that its overwhelming presence is etched into the minds of high school students.

[Unique ranking from 4th place onwards!] In 4th place was 'Tokyo Ghoul' (9.7%). As a dark fantasy work, its stylish world view is supported. 5th place is 'Tokyo 03' (5.7%). As a comedy trio, their realistic and relatable skits are felt to be accessible by high school students. 6th place is 'Tokyo Revengers' (5.3%). The story depicting the bonds between friends seems to remain fresh in their memories even after the series ended. 7th place is 'Tokyo Jihen' (4.0%). Not only their musicality, but also their fashion sense is evaluated. 8th place is 'TOKYO MER' (3.7%). It is the only drama that ranked in.
