Wataban Holdings Co., Ltd. and Iida City are co-hosting the 16th 'My Hometown Pride' Painting Contest, inviting preschoolers, elementary, and middle school students to express their favorite hometown landscapes, fostering creativity and local pride.

Wataban Holdings Co., Ltd. (Tokyo Prime: President and CEO Yuu Nohara) is pleased to announce the 16th 'My Hometown Pride' Painting Contest.

The 'My Hometown Pride' Painting Contest is an art competition for preschoolers, elementary, and middle school students, inviting them to submit artwork depicting their favorite scenery from their hometowns.

The Wataban Group believes that the growth of local children contributes directly to regional development, and actively engages in various children's support initiatives. This contest aims to provide children with ongoing opportunities to draw, nurturing their imagination and expressive abilities, while encouraging them to rediscover the charm of their hometowns.

Additionally, through children's artistic perspectives, the contest hopes to inspire local residents to re-examine familiar landscapes and appreciate the unique appeal of their communities, fostering a renewed sense of pride: 'Our hometown really is wonderful!'
