Press Release Information ## Title: [Gen Z Creates Corporate 'Dramas'] Fukushima Prefecture Launches Practical Career Education Program Season 2 | Recruiting 24 Students and 8 Companies
### Overview Applications are now open for participating students and companies for "FUKUSHIMA Work Stories" Season 2 (2026 Fiscal Year), a practical career program that showcases the appeal of Fukushima Prefecture's companies through 'short dramas'.
This program is a "practical career education program" where students interview companies within Fukushima Prefecture and are involved in all aspects from planning, filming, editing, to SNS distribution.
Instead of "explaining" companies, we convey their appeal in a way that resonates with young people by sharing the real experiences that students feel as content.
### Last Year's Results (Season 1) Scenes from the presentation screening event. Short dramas created. In Season 1, conducted in FY2025, 15 companies in Fukushima Prefecture and participating student teams collaborated to produce 45 short dramas, which were distributed on social media (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube). These contents resonated with the younger demographic, leading to a deeper understanding of companies by students and an improvement in the quality of corporate recruitment PR.
#### Voices from Last Year's Participating Students Program Participant, Ms. Tesima A Program Where I Felt My Own Growth I learned a lot from my teammates and the people at the companies I was in charge of, and I truly felt that it led to my own growth. Through the program, my resistance to talking with people, which was a bit of a weakness before, has decreased.
#### Voices from Last Year's Participating Companies Group photo of Fukushima Sankei Co., Ltd. and their assigned students Rediscovering Our Company's Value Through Co-creation with Students The idea of students promoting local companies is groundbreaking, and by participating in this project, we were able to produce professional, high-quality corporate PR videos under professional direction.
Furthermore, the opportunity to collaborate with students with whom we had little prior contact was a very valuable experience.
### Background and Purpose In Fukushima Prefecture, there continues to be a brain drain of talent to other prefectures among the 20-24 age group entering the workforce. A contributing factor to this is that students do not know enough about companies within the prefecture, and the 'reality of work' is not being adequately conveyed.
This project aims to create corporate information that reaches young people, foster career perspectives, and increase interest in local employment by having students themselves report on and publicize companies.
### Season 2 Features To achieve deeper learning and output in Season 2, we have designed it for a small group of: 24 Students x 8 Companies to "Increase each individual's level of involvement," "Improve content quality," and "Deepen relationships with companies."
### Program Details (Specific) Participating students will form teams with companies and experience everything from "creation" and "delivery" to "reflection" over approximately 10 months. ① Company Interviews (On-site visits, interviews) ② Short Drama Planning ③ Filming and Editing ④ SNS Distribution (TikTok / Instagram / YouTube) ⑤ Presentation at the Achievement Screening Event
