Tobu Zoo Celebrates 45th Anniversary with a 300-Drone Show

(Shin-Osaka Office: Yodogawa-ku, Osaka; Representative Director: Aya Horiuchi), a company providing end-to-end planning, production, and operation of drone shows, is responsible for the "Drone Show: Thank You for 45 Years," a commemorative event for Tobu Zoo's 45th anniversary. The event will be held for two days only, on Saturday, March 28, and Sunday, March 29, 2026. 300 drones will light up the night sky, expressing gratitude to visitors and celebrating the park's 45-year history through light animation.

About "Drone Show: Thank You for 45 Years"

Since its opening in 1981, Tobu Zoo has been cherished by the local community for 45 years. To commemorate this milestone, the park is hosting various gratitude initiatives, including special discount days, novelty giveaways, and 45th-anniversary animal guides, culminating in this drone show at night.

White Crow has designed the show as a "full-day commemorative experience," transforming motifs reflecting the 45-year history and messages of gratitude into light animations created by 300 drones.

① A "Night Sky of Gratitude" painted by 300 drones 300 drones will take to the night sky simultaneously to dynamically express gratitude to visitors and the park's 45-year journey. Rather than using packaged templates, we will screen original animations created exclusively for this event.

② A one-day experience linked to anniversary initiatives By linking with daytime commemorative measures such as discount days, novelty giveaways, and animal guides, the drone show serves as the perfect finale to the day, contributing to higher visitor satisfaction and encouraging repeat visits.

③ Scarcity value of a two-day limited event drives attendance The scarcity of an experience that can only be enjoyed at that time and place is a powerful motivator for visitors. At the "Wakaura Fireworks Festival" involving White Crow, attendance doubled compared to normal, and during the previous drone show at Tobu Zoo, the park recorded over 12,000 visitors on the day of the event.
