Wood Education x Manufacturing Experience

WOOD DESIGN PARK Okazaki (Location: Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture) will launch a new workshop, "Mokurobo Production Studio," with the theme of wood education and manufacturing experience.

This is an experiential workshop where participants can enjoy manufacturing with their free ideas in an environment unique to a glamping facility surrounded by nature, and create a one-of-a-kind "mokurobo."

Upon completion, participants will receive a "Certificate of Birth" to take home as a memento of their encounter with their own mokurobo.

Background of the Event

At WOOD DESIGN PARK Okazaki, we have offered various experiential content with the desire to "make time spent in nature even more memorable."

The newly launched "Mokurobo Production Studio" is a wood education workshop aimed at fostering creativity and a sense of accomplishment by touching wood and enjoying manufacturing with free ideas.

We aim for the experience itself – "thinking," "combining," and "creating" – to become a precious memory with family and friends, not just the finished product.

Each mokurobo, with its unique expression, is a one-of-a-kind work where the creator's ideas and individuality are directly shaped.

Workshop Features

1. Enjoy manufacturing with free ideas

You can create your own original mokurobo by freely combining wood materials and various parts.

2. Includes a Certificate of Birth

A Certificate of Birth will be presented with the completed mokurobo.

It becomes a special, one-of-a-kind item, allowing you to give it a name and record the production date.

3. An experience to enjoy wood education

By freely thinking, devising, and completing the work while touching the warmth and materials of wood,

You can experience the joy of manufacturing and the pleasure of creation.

4. Creating memories unique to a glamping facility

After creating in a natural environment, you can take a commemorative photo with your smartphone, which will be presented as a Cheki instant photo. You can spend special time with your family and friends as a memory of your trip or outdoor adventure.
