All three buildings at the state-of-the-art logistics hub 'ALFALINK Ibaraki' (Ibaraki City, Osaka Prefecture), developed by GLP Japan (a subsidiary of Ares Management Corporation), have achieved 'Gold' certification under the international environmental standard LEED® BD+C: Warehouses and Distribution Centers v4. Woonerf Inc. was responsible for supporting the certification process for all three buildings. In a large-scale development with a total floor area of approximately 320,000 square meters, it is rare for multiple buildings to achieve LEED® BD+C Gold certification in Japan, making it a new model case for sustainable logistics facilities. With the completion of 'ALFALINK Ibaraki 3' in July 2025, all buildings in the hub are now finished. It is an integrated project adjacent to a large commercial facility developed as part of Ibaraki City's land readjustment project, serving as one of the largest next-generation logistics hubs in the Kansai region. By integrating commerce and logistics, the project aims to revitalize the local economy and create new value. Woonerf provided expert knowledge in areas such as energy efficiency improvement, environmental impact reduction, and indoor environmental quality to support the certification.
