Miles Davis 100th Anniv. Tribute Live to Broadcast Exclusively on WOWOW on July 25

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of jazz legend Miles Davis, WOWOW will exclusively broadcast and stream the premium tribute live concert 'UNLIMITED MILES: MILES DAVIS at 100' on July 25, 2026, at 7:30 PM JST. Recorded at Blue Note Tokyo on April 23, 2026, the performance is led by keyboardist John Beasley, who played in Miles Davis's band during his later years. The all-star sextet features John Beasley (keyboards), Sean Jones (trumpet), Mark Turner (saxophone), Kurt Rosenwinkel (guitar), Ben Williams (bass), and Terreon Gully (drums). The program will be broadcast on WOWOW Live and streamed on WOWOW On Demand, with archive streaming available afterward. The concert features creative rearrangements and mashups of Davis's classics from different eras. In addition, on July 5, 2026, at 4:00 PM, WOWOW will air a special feature showcasing legendary Western music artists including Michael Jackson, David Bowie, Ozzy Osbourne, and Bob Dylan.
