Taiwanese AI Avatar Service Perxona to Hold Second Builder Workshop in Tokyo on July 22

XRSPACE CO., LTD (Headquarters: Taipei City, Taiwan, hereinafter XRSPACE) will hold the "Build Your Own AI Avatar – Tokyo Builder Workshop" on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, in Tokyo, for its enterprise AI avatar platform "Perxona."

This event will explore the role of AI avatars in next-generation brand communication, customer service, and support, targeting developers, AI builders, Vibe Coders, creators, and startup professionals from Japan and Taiwan, with a focus on the design, utilization, and implementation of AI avatars. As the era where "anyone can build their own AI tools" approaches, AI avatars are gaining attention as a crucial element that transcends text interfaces to achieve more natural and emotionally rich interactions.

Startup Island TAIWAN Tokyo Hub (hereinafter SIT Tokyo Hub) will serve as the venue partner for this event. Through this collaboration, Perxona aims to expand AI avatar technology and the builder community into Tokyo's startup ecosystem and further promote exchange between Japan and Taiwan in AI, innovation, and industrial applications.

Perxona integrates 3D avatars, natural language conversation, multilingual support, and AI conversation design to transform corporate websites, events, and digital services into "real-time interactive AI concierges." Unlike traditional text-based chatbots, it enables user engagement in a more human-like manner that reflects the brand's world view.

Three Themes Covered in the Workshop

This "Build Your Own AI Avatar – Tokyo Builder Workshop," as part of Perxona's expansion into the Japanese market, will primarily focus on the following three themes:

1 From Chatbots to Digital Personalities

Understanding the evolution of AI avatars from text-based chatbots to digital personalities with character and interactive experiences.

2 AI Avatar Design Framework

Learning practical frameworks for designing AI avatars, including personality settings, conversation flows, and case studies.

3 Idea Conception Leading to Hackathons

Participants will shape their own ideas for AI avatar utilization, connecting them to upcoming Perxona hackathons and the builder community.

Participants discussed AI avatars not just as an extension of chatbots, but as a new interface applicable in a wide range of scenarios such as branding, tourism, retail, hospitality, and events, exploring the experiences that could be generated in each use case. It also served as a platform for builders utilizing AI-assisted tools like Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, Replit, Lovable, Bolt, and v0 to foster ideas for future AI avatar development.
