Yamaha Corporation's proprietary speaker diaphragm material technology has been adopted in Hokuhoku Onkyo Co., Ltd.'s new speaker unit 'MS-TAMANEGI', scheduled for release in July 2026. Yamaha Corporation (hereinafter 'the company') has announced that its proprietary speaker diaphragm material technology has been adopted in the new speaker unit 'MS-TAMANEGI (Emuesu-Tamanegi)' developed by Hokuhoku Onkyo Co., Ltd. (Taito-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter 'Hokuhoku Onkyo'), scheduled for release in July 2026.

As part of its bottom-up new business development program 'Value Amplifier', the company hosted DIY speaker assembly workshops in 2024 and 2025, featuring its original 9cm full-range speaker units with newly developed diaphragm and surround (edge) materials. Now, the vibration system material technology developed through Yamaha's speaker unit research has been adopted in 'MS-TAMANEGI', the first speaker unit product under Hokuhoku Onkyo's audio brand 'MotherAudio'.
