Applications Open for the 2026 Regional Economy Subsidy Program "HAMA CONNECTED" in Fukushima

Yamaide Art Office Inc., acting as the secretariat for the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, has opened applications for "HAMA CONNECTED." This subsidy program aims to revitalize 12 municipalities in Fukushima's Hamadori region using art and design to generate long-term related population growth. Applications run from May 15 to June 15, 2026, with a prior notice of intent required by June 12. Subsidies range from 5 to 20 million JPY (up to 50 million in exceptional cases), covering up to two-thirds of eligible costs.
