Yamanashi Chuo Bank, Ltd. (President: Yoshiaki Furuya) has decided to donate the equivalent of postage costs saved by voting via the internet at the general meeting of shareholders to "Present Tree (*)" operated by the certified NPO Environmental Relations Institute, which carries out local tree planting activities. For the 122nd regular general meeting of shareholders held last year, the donation and subsequent tree planting were carried out as follows.

We will continue to call on shareholders that voting via the internet contributes to the conservation of local natural environment and strive to enable more tree planting.

The bank will continue to promote activities to reduce environmental impact through business operations, and actively work to revitalize local environmental conservation activities and solve environmental problems in order to protect a lush and beautiful nature.

* A project that calls on people to "plant a tree as a gift" where urban residents plant trees in places that need reforestation, such as abandoned forests, disaster-stricken forests, former golf courses and ranch sites across the country, and then nurture them together with local communities for 10 years.
