Yamori Begins Accepting Applications for 'Affordable Housing' Renovated via Public-Private Partnership Fund

Yamori Co., Ltd. announced that starting May 29, 2026, it will begin accepting applications for affordable housing renovated from used houses in Tokyo, purchased through the first 'Public-Private Partnership Affordable Housing Supply Promotion Fund' in Japan. This initiative involves acquiring unused used houses in Tokyo, performing renovations to enhance safety and comfort, and providing them as rental housing at rent levels lower than the surrounding market. The properties currently available for application include 9 used houses located in Katsushika, Edogawa, Machida, Itabashi, Shinagawa, Meguro, and Nerima wards in Tokyo. Rents are set at approximately 65% to 80% of the surrounding market rate. Eligibility is limited to families with children aged 18 or under living in Tokyo, or those expected to become a child-rearing household within one year.
