Yayoi Co., Ltd. (HQ: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Kenichiro Muto; hereafter 'Yayoi') announced that its 'Bookkeeping Support Service' has been registered as an eligible product under the '2026 Digitalization & AI Introduction Subsidy' promoted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency, and the Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises and Regional Innovation. This certification allows firms to receive a subsidy of up to 75% on the service's implementation costs and up to two years of usage fees. Furthermore, for small-scale businesses, the subsidy rate increases to 80%, bolstering efforts by accounting firms to comply with the Invoice System and the Electronic Book Preservation Law, as well as advancing their digitalization.

The '2026 Digitalization & AI Introduction Subsidy' aims to improve labor productivity for SMEs and small-scale businesses by supporting the introduction of IT tools (software, services, etc.) for operational efficiency and DX. Yayoi is registered as a support operator, with its desktop software 'Yayoi Accounting' and 'Yayoi Sales' also registered as eligible products.

Now, Yayoi's 'Bookkeeping Support Service' has been certified under the 'Invoice Category (Invoice-compliant type)' for accounting software compatible with the Invoice System. This service fully automates and streamlines bookkeeping operations for accounting firms, supporting them through the complexities introduced by the Invoice System and the Electronic Book Preservation Law.

Firms can receive up to 75% subsidy on implementation costs and two years of usage fees. For small-scale businesses, this rate rises to 80%.

Additionally, as a support operator for this subsidy, Yayoi has partnered with kubell Inc., which has extensive experience and expertise in subsidy applications. Expert subsidy advisors from kubell will provide hands-on support for applications.

Launched in September 2020, the 'Bookkeeping Support Service' automates bookkeeping. Accounting firms simply scan and upload paper documents like receipts and bank statements, allowing them to import automatically journalized data into 'Yayoi Accounting AE,' thereby streamlining bookkeeping for clients.
