Global Citizen, the world's largest movement dedicated to ending poverty, has announced that YOSHIKI will headline its first-ever music event in Japan, "Global Citizen Live: Tokyo," at the Tokyo International Forum on June 18, 2026. He joins a lineup that already includes &TEAM, AI, and Yuki Chiba, to galvanize the global movement to end poverty. The event will be hosted by Chris Peppler.

YOSHIKI stated, "I am very happy to be able to perform at this first-ever event in Japan for Global Citizen. I feel a deep connection with the mission of linking music and social contribution."

Final tickets for "Global Citizen Live: Tokyo" will be available for purchase starting Saturday, May 30, via eplus, Ticket Pia, and Lawson Ticket. Ticket proceeds will be donated to the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to raise ¥16 billion by the 2026 FIFA World Cup to provide quality education for at least 100,000 children in over 150 countries, including Japan. The fund awards grants ranging from $50,000 to $250,000 to 27 organizations in 10 countries to expand opportunities for children in areas with limited access to quality education and sports. From Japan, UBUNTU FS Promotion and SDGs Promise Japan have been selected.

UBUNTU FS Promotion, based in Kitakyushu, is a community-focused organization dedicated to fostering sustainable local development through sports, culture, and social participation. SDGs Promise Japan is a Tokyo-based non-profit working on sustainable development and poverty reduction in regions like Africa.
