NTT Urban Development Corporation will host the third installment of its collaborative event series, 'YUI NOS to NanoTerasu ~#3 Connecting Light, Expanding the World of Nano~,' on Friday, July 24, 2026, at the 'YUI NOS' co-creation and exchange hub located in the Urban Net Sendai Central Building.
The event will feature practical case studies and a panel discussion by users of NanoTerasu, a 3GeV high-brightness synchrotron radiation facility.
Through real-life experiences shared by three users with diverse backgrounds and levels of engagement, attendees will gain insights and inspiration for utilizing NanoTerasu in corporate, research, and educational settings.
The event is open to a wide audience, from first-time users to existing users aiming for advanced applications. On-site participants will also be invited to a networking reception with light refreshments and drinks, offering opportunities to connect with fellow users and NanoTerasu representatives.
Showcasing Practical Use Cases from NanoTerasu Users
Seiko Epson Corporation, Tech Ohyo Kogyo Co., Ltd., and Sendai Municipal Sendai Seiryo Secondary School will present their experiences, highlighting how NanoTerasu is being used in industrial R&D, material and steel evaluation, and educational research activities. These diverse case studies will illustrate the expanding applications of NanoTerasu across different sectors.
By hearing firsthand accounts from users with varying levels of experience and organizational backgrounds, participants can discover new ideas and practical insights for implementing NanoTerasu in their own organizations.
The program is designed for a broad audience, including those new to NanoTerasu, organizations considering future use, and existing users seeking to deepen their utilization.
Networking Reception for On-Site Attendees
A casual networking reception with light food and beverages will be held exclusively for on-site participants after the main program. This provides a relaxed environment for users to exchange ideas and build connections with other users and NanoTerasu staff.
Attendees can use this opportunity to ask questions that couldn't be addressed during the seminar or to discuss specific implementation challenges with experts and practitioners—offering access to insights rarely available in formal settings.
We welcome participation from individuals and organizations interested in R&D, new material development, quality assessment, analytical technologies, industry-academia-government collaboration, and new business development.
