Tokyo University of Technology and Art (1556 Utsunuki-machi, Hachioji City, Tokyo; President: Junri Ikushima) will hold its Open Campus 2026 "SPICE" for two days on July 18 (Sat.) and July 19 (Sun).
During the event, various programs will be offered, including public lectures, workshops, exhibitions and screenings of student work, individual consultations with faculty, and facility tours. These two days will allow visitors to experience the charm of Tokyo University of Technology and Art, whether with family and friends, or on their own.
At our university, a student unit formed specifically for the open campus takes the lead, setting the concept and theme each year, and planning and producing promotional materials such as posters and venue decorations. The theme for fiscal year 2026 is "SPICE." We look forward to seeing you at our annual open campus.
About the theme "SPICE":
Spices are elements that bring excitement and change to cooking. This year's theme likens that role to the experiences and learning gained at Tokyo University of Technology and Art. Our university offers a curriculum that allows students to take classes in other fields of study, and an environment where different fields of study can influence each other. The accumulation of daily stimulation and unexpected encounters will create new forms of expression that you never imagined, bring out a new "face" of yourself that you didn't know, and become your own new "SPICE."
